O&B Report for Tuesday 6 January 2026

The start of the new year attracted 10 players including a visitor, Dennis Underwood; welcome, Dennis. The sun shone and an easterly breeze produced some interesting conditions with the additional issue of some longish grass on a few fairways. That said, the scoring was reasonable with 24 points getting Dave O'Neill the mention. Fourth place with 27 points went to Moray Campbell, winning 2 Euro. In third place, with 28 points, was Mark Pegler, winning 4 Euro. The runner up was our previous three in a row champion, Ron marsh, with 30 points, winning 6 Euro. Our first champion of 2026 with 37 points, winning 8 Euro, was Alan Young; outstanding play Alan, very well done ! It's the monthly medal this Saturday 10 January so another chance to submit a qualifying round. See you all again next Tuesday, if not beforehand.
