Ten of us assembled for the challenge today on a cold and sunny morning. It turned out to be that the course was playing extra long and scores reflected this fact precisely. Getting the mention with 24 points on countback was Alison Hallatt. Fourth place on the same 24 points, winning 2 Euro, was Moray Campbell. Third place went to Ron Marsh with 25 points, winning 4 Euro. The runner up, on 29 points, winning 6 Euro, was Alan Young. The top spot was secured with 30 points by Alistair Smylie, winning 8 Euro, and the admiration of us all; well done Alistair ! It is the Memorial Trophy competition this Saturday although the weather is threatening to spoil the party...let's hope that the competition goes ahead as planned.
