Eighteen holes off the red tees attracted 9 players today in challenging, very windy, conditions. Mike Sotiriou was welcomed back from his UK summer break. The mention this week went to Allan McEwan with 33 points. In fourth place with 34 points, on countback, winning his 2 Euro back was Gary Brownlee. Third place on the same 34 points, winning 3 Euro, was Ray Fish. The runner, up scoring 35 points, was Tony Sarginson, winning 5 Euro. In the top spot this week with 38 points, winning 8 Euro, was Dave O'Neill; outstanding performance today, Dave, let's hope your form lasts until we take on the opposition at Ay Nick in the upcoming inter club competition. This Saturday is our first monthly medal of the season and hopefully will attract a good turnout. I'm away in UK for a couple of weeks so reports will resume on 28th October; see you all then for more fun in the Valley !
