It was a dry but very windy Happy Valley that greeted the nine players today, making scoring points a bit tricky; with one exception, the bar was set low with results as follows. The mention was awarded on countback to Moray Campbell on 29 points. Third place with 30 points, winning 3 Euro, was taken by yours truly, 'Wild Bill' Ferguson ! Our runner-up with 31 points, winning 6 Euro, was Tony Sarginson. And now, the raised bar result of the winner, on 37 points, winning 9 Euro, our current Club Champion, Alan Young. Great scoring Alan in very challenging conditions; keep up the solid play. It's the President's fun event this Saturday so we are hoping to see as many as possible turn out to say farewell to our President, Peter Squires, aka CBF ! Meanwhile, keep swinging !
