With no rain for many months now the course is rock hard and playing very short; sometimes good, sometimes bad. The eight starters all scored reasonably well and the winner really conquered it as will be revealed. There was a countback situation for the mention on 22 points which was won by Moray Campbell. Third place was taken with 23 points by Alan Young, winning 3 Euro. Second place went to Yours Truly on 24 points, winning 5 Euro. The star of the day with 2 birdies (second and tenth) and 30 points, winning 8 Euro, was Gary Brownlee; an outstanding performance today Gary, you seem to have found some form so enjoy it while you can ! Hoping to see you all again next Tuesday for more fun in the Valley.
