Ten of us gathered to conquer the front 12 holes on a typically warm and sweaty morning although 2 of our number played earlier to meet personal timetables. It was all good, with a split in the scoring as will be seen below. 21 was a very popular score and got the mention awarded to Yours Truly. The same 21 put Tony Sarginson into fourth place, winning 2 Euro. And the same 21 put Alan Young into third place, winning 4 Euro. Then the big divide, when we elevate to much higher levels....26 points, putting Ron Marsh into second place, on a count back, winning 6 Euro. Our Champion this week, with 26 points, winning 8 Euro was Allan McEwan; well done Allan, obviously still playing well following a successful Captains Day victory ! It's the AGM this Friday at 4.00 pm - don't miss it as there will be some interesting announcements made.
