Another good turnout of eleven players to face the heat over the first 12 holes. Great scoring again as the dry ground makes the course play slightly shorter for most. Getting the mention with 22 points was Alan Young. Fourth place was taken with 23 points by Ron Marsh, winning 2 Euro. Third place, with 26 points (the winning score last week) was Chris Cowin, winning 4 Euro. The top two were tied on 29 points each, but being beaten into second place on count back was Dave McVey, winning 7 Euro. And, in a re-run of last week's result, our winner with the same 29 points was Allan McEwan, winning 9 Euro; another great performance, Allan, can you make it three in a row ? Actually, the O&B will be played at Elea next Tuesday with the first tee at 10.00 am; details will be sent out closer to the time - let's hope it doesn't rain !
