Following a 2 week break, the report compiler is back on island and on the job once more. That said, with only 4 players on Tuesday 30 July it was decided to not compile a report although there was a noteworthy eagle scored by Ray Taylor on the par 5 fifth hole (on in 2 and rammed the put home from 15ish feet) - nice one Ray; Alan Young won the day with 25 points. Today's turnout was slightly improved with five players. It was decided to play the 'back' 12 holes (1 to 7 then 14 to 18) off the red tees. Allan McEwan took the mention with 17 points. Alan Young was third with 22 points winning 3 Euro. Ron Marsh was second with 26 points winning 5 Euro. Top spot was taken by Yours Truly, hot off his attendance at the Open in Troon, Bonny Scotland, winning 7 Euro. Hoping to see you all again next Tuesday, in the meantime, stay cool !!
