O&B Tuesday 7th November

Ten golfers set off to compete for the honours today. A slightly different challenge over the first 5 holes as the brisk easterly wind made it hard going. Funny thing, we seemed to be still heading into wind when we turned at the sixth...such fun ! Despite these early issues the scoring picked up and subsequently surprised us all. The mention (after a steward's inquiry as the Chair originally wanted to award it to Alison Hallett) went to Allan McEwan on 31 points. Third place with 34 points, winning 4 Euro, was Bill Ferguson (the Chair today). Second place with 35 points, winning 7 Euro, was Ron Marsh aka kickass. Today's champion with an outstanding 38 points, winning 9 Euro, was Dave McVey; great play Champ let's hope you can keep this form for the upcoming Inter Club competition.
