O&B Tuesday 5th December

Another bumper turnout of 14 players; well done everyone ! We were given a special treat of birthday nibbles provided by Dave McVey and Dave O'Neill who are each nearing a significant date...with Dave O' joining the octogenarian club; congratulations ! The mention this week, after a steward's inquiry, went to Ray Taylor on 29 points. In fifth place with 30 points, winning his 2 Euro back, was Alan Young. Fourth place went to Ron Marsh with 31 points on countback, winning 3 Euro. The birthday boys took the next 2 spots with Dave O' Neill in third place on 31 points winning 5 Euro and Dave McVey in second place with 35 points winning 8 Euro. A great performance from our winner, Sally Harris, with 37 points winning 10 Euro; very solid play Sally and a well deserved win. We say farewell to Howard and Susan Sims as they return to UK, holiday over; come and join us again - you are most welcome. Hopefully we can do it all again next Tuesday...see you then !
