A good turnout of 7 players today as people slowly drift back after the summer break; welcome back to Dave O'Neill and Ray Fish. The weather still being on the warm side it was decided to play on the front 12 holes only. Getting the mention with 22 points was Dave Mcvey. Third place went to Bill Ferguson with 23 points, winning his €2 back. The runner up was Allan McEwan with a great performance, scoring 26 points and winning €5. However, the top man this week, fresh back from his UK visit, was Ray Fish with 28 points (this included 4 x four points!) taking the big prize of €7. Outstanding stuff Ray, very well done.
Let's see if we can keep this attendance going, and even improving, as the new season gets into full swing after the Captain's drive in on 30th September.
