Seven players out there today and in the extra hot conditions it was agreed that the front 12 holes would be sufficient. Mercifully, the wind picked up after a few holes so it was a pleasant 12 holes (for most !). Ron Marsh celebrated his 83rd birthday today so we were treated to celebratory drinks after the game; thanks Ron, and congratulations on reaching another milestone. Getting the mention, with 23 points, was Moray Campbell. Third place went to Allan McEwan on 24 points, winning 2 Euro. Our runner up, with 25 points, was birthday boy, Ron, winning 5 Euro. And continuing in his recent strong performances to take today's top prize of 7 Euro, with 27 points, was Tony Sarginson. Another great performance from the man in form; well done Tony, keep it going. Hoping to see you all next week for another hot experience.
