O&B Report for Tuesday 25 Feb 25

Following the Open competition on a very cold Saturday just past, most of us had warmed up and our equipment dried out sufficiently to get back out on the course again today; very well done to Alan Young and Ron Marsh for winning the Open competition ! There was nine of us today; the sun shone all morning and golf was great once again. A big welcome back to Andy Rahaman joining us for a few weeks. The mention today went to Ron Marsh with 29 points. Third place was taken by Andy Rahaman with 32 points, winning 3 Euro. Our runner-up, on 33 points, was Gary Brownlee, winning 6 Euro and 10 cents (Gary had put an extra 10 cents into the pot as he didn't have the correct coins). Our winner this week with 34 points was Mike Sotiriou, winning 9 Euro. Congratulations Mike, producing some consistant play these past few weeks. Tomorrow is the Monthly Stableford competition so a great opportunity to get another qualifying round in. Alan Y will be holding the fort while I am away in UK for the next 2 weeks; thanks Alan.
