A goodly number of players (13) assembled to take on the strong easterly wind with a fair measure of success. It was great to have Rob Cowin join us again after his back surgery. The mention went to Yours Truly (Wild Bill) on 29 points. Fourth place on the same 29 points, winning 4 Euro, was Ray Fish. Third place again on 29 points, winning 6 Euro, was Howard Sims. Our runner-up on 30 points, winning 7 Euro, was Chris Cowin. A strong performance by Gary Brownlee secured the top spot with 36 points, winning 9 Euro; a fantastic chip in birdie on the 18th provided the perfect end to a great round - well done Gary. Let's hope that those playing in the 2nd leg of the Inter Club on Saturday can find their 'A' game...come on EPI !!
