O&B Report for Tuesday 1 Apr 25

A great turnout this week of 14 players to enjoy the overcast, warm but windy conditions. A bit of confusion interpreting the scores was eventually resolved and scores confirmed as follows. The mention was awarded to Mike Sotiriou on 31 points. Fifth place on a countback, with 32 points, was taken by Alan Young getting his 2 Euro back. In fourth place, with the same 32 points, winning 4 Euro, was Alison Hallatt. Third place was taken by Tony Sarginson with 34 points, winning 5 Euro. Our runner-up with 35 points, winning 7 Euro, was Yours Truly, Wild Bill ! However, our winner being more than just head and shoulders above everybody, with 42 points, winning 10 Euro, was Alistair Smiley freshly returned from his trip to the Far East which obviously has had an amazing impact on his golf game; very well done Alistair, hopefully you can keep it rolling. Farewells this week to Alison Hallatt as she heads home to Eire and also to Paul Marsh at the end of his short visit to Dad, Ron; Bon Voyage ! For the remainder, hoping to see you all again next Tuesday.
