With a strengthening breeze threatening us, twelve players took to the course today and produced some great results as follows. The mention went to Dave O'Neill with 34 points. Fourth place was taken by Alan Young on a countback with 35 points, winning 3 Euro. Third place, with the same 35 points, was taken by Moray Campbell, winning 5 Euro. Our runner-up this week with 36 points was Ron Marsh, winning 7 Euro. The winner, having had to retire injured last Tuesday, came storming home with 37 points to win 9 Euro and a lot of admiration from the assembled players; very well done, Dave Mc Vey, great to have you back on form again. This Saturday it is the Greensomes competition so please consider entering; it will be fun, no doubt. Also, the book of remembrance for Bill Power is now available in the club house for members to complete as they wish; it will be removed on Tuesday 14 May and sent to UK for Bill's family and friends to contribute. Hoping to see you all again next Tuesday.
