A bit of a strange weather day with humidity, sunshine, light winds and thunder rumbling on the higher ground up the hill but good scores from most and the usual 'not so good' performances. Thirteen players today and getting the mention with a great 32 points was Chris Cowin - that's 2 weeks in a row ! Fourth place was taken by Alan Young with 33 points, winning 3 Euro. Third place went to Moray Campbell with 36 points, winning 5 Euro. The top spots were closely contended with a countback situation; runner-up with 37 points was our President's Putter Champion from the weekend, Dave O'Neill (congratulations, Dave), winning 8 Euro. The overall winner, with the same 37 points, winning 10 Euro, was Allan McEwan; well done Allan, let's hope the force remains with you for a while (not too long, of course!).
