Another good turnout of 12 players started today although, for a variety of reasons, 3 dropped out and left for an early shower ! A hot day with a light easterly breeze made the conditions quite favourable for most with results as follows. The mention was taken by Chris Cowin with 27 points on countback. Fourth place went to Mike Sotiriou with 29 points, winning his 2 Euro back. Third spot went to Yours Truly (Wild Bill) with 34 points on countback, winning 5 Euro. Our runner-up, with the same 34 points, winning 7 Euro, was Alan Young. And taking the honours this week with a return to form, scoring 38 points, winning 10 Euro, was Ron Marsh; great to have you back to your old self Ron...let's hope it lasts, at least until the President's Putter Competition this Saturday. Hoping to see you all next Tuesday, if not this Saturday !
