Nine players gathered today for our O&B session in what turned out to be a weird weather experience, overcast, humid and generally not very comfortable; even the golf balls didn't seem to like it and refused to fly as far as normal !! Nonetheless, the scores were reasonable, and getting the mention with 33 points on a countback was Alison Hallatt. Third place, on the same 33 points with a better back 9 holes, was taken by Bill Ferguson, winning 4 Euro. Our runner-up this week, still showing some good form, with 35 points was Dave McVey, winning 6 Euro. Another excellent round, scoring 37 points following a recent heavy reduction to his handicap, saw Alan Young take the top spot and 8 Euro; outstanding stuff Alan, great to see you back on form. See you all next Tuesday for another round of fun in the Valley !!
