O&B Tuesday 2nd January

The New Year got off to a flying start with 8 players turning out, although perhaps 'sticky start' might better describe things as the course was playing very long after the recent rain.  Nevertheless. a couple of our number still managed to produce good results....as follows.  Getting the mention on a countback with 28 points was Alan Young.  Third place, with the same 28 points, winning 3 Euro was Ray Fish.  Second place went to Allan McEwan with 31 points, winning 5 Euro.  The man who overcame the conditions to scoop the first prize, with 33 points, was Ron 'kickass' Marsh, winning 8 Euro; well done Ron obviously those many years of golf experience stood you in good stead.  Looking forward to seeing you all again next Tuesday if the weather permits !!!
